What makes ByeBed different from other alarm apps?

Last updated: October 15, 2026

ByeBed combines 14 wake-up missions (math, shake, push-ups counted on the device by Apple Vision, six AI-checked photo missions such as the sky or your made bed, drawing, a maze, memory games and a bird-hop mini-game), uses Apple's AlarmKit so alarms ring even in silent mode and Do Not Disturb, and works without an account, with your alarms, settings and stats stored on your phone.

Mission variety

14 missions, plus an Easy, Normal or Hard setting for each alarm. Different missions match different mornings — sometimes you want math, sometimes you want push-ups, sometimes a quick photo of the sky. The full menu covers cognitive (math typed on a keypad, memory pairs, memory sequence), physical (push-ups counted by Apple Vision, 30 shakes), photo (a random object, the sky, your made bed, grass, your pill, one of your own objects), and games (drawing, maze, bird hop).

AlarmKit reliability

ByeBed is built on AlarmKit, the alarm framework Apple introduced with iOS 26. It lets ByeBed's alarms break through silent mode and Focus / Do Not Disturb, like the built-in Clock app. The alert shows a Stop button, but in ByeBed it opens your mission, and if you don't finish it the alarm rings again, up to 10 times over 15 minutes.

Privacy

No account required. Your alarms, settings and stats are stored on your phone. Photo and drawing missions send the image to Google Gemini for a one-time check, and ByeBed does not store it. The app also uses analytics (PostHog) and ad-attribution tools (AppsFlyer, TikTok); see the App Store privacy label and the privacy policy for full details.
